Data controller

Data we collect

• Your WhatsApp number, used as your account identifier.
• Your messages and the characters' replies, plus a conversation memory (summary, things you shared: first name, tastes, events…), so the character remembers you.
• Photos generated for you and the appearance chosen for your character.
• Your purchases: offer, amount, dates, Stripe customer ID. Bank details are handled by Stripe only.

Please do not share sensitive information (health, bank details, passwords…) in conversations.

Purposes and legal bases

• Providing the Service and the characters' memory: performance of the contract.
• Payments and billing: performance of the contract and legal obligations.
• Security and abuse prevention: legitimate interest.

Your conversations are never sold, never used for advertising, and never used by the Publisher to train AI models.

Recipients and processors

• Google Cloud (hosting and database, European Union).
• Twilio and Meta / WhatsApp (message delivery).
• OpenAI and xAI (reply and photo generation; messages and photo descriptions are sent to them).
• fal.ai (backup photo generation; photo descriptions are sent to it).
• Stripe (payments).

Some of these providers are located outside the European Union (United States). Transfers are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and/or the Data Privacy Framework.

Retention

• Conversations, memory and photos: while the account is active, then automatically deleted after 12 months without any message (unless a subscription is active). The account, purchased message balance and billing data are kept.
• Billing data: 10 years (accounting obligation).

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. To exercise these rights, write to contact@whatsaiworld.com with your WhatsApp number. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr) or your local data protection authority.

Cookies

whatsaiworld.com uses no advertising or analytics cookies. Your language choice is stored in your browser. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.
